A computer science tutor for Malsha, 14, who's falling behind
Online or in-person tutoring in computer science for a bright student in Colombo.
🇱🇰 Sri Lanka512 views
My younger sister, Malsha, is 14 and in Year 10. Malsha loves school but computer science has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The school-leaving exam is in May.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Colombo or online, for about sixteen weeks.
Malsha is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in computer science, you could change the course of Malsha's year.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
