A computer science tutor for Jocelyn, 16, who's falling behind

Jocelyn is working hard on computer science but can't afford a tutor; 1 hours a week until the GCSE would help enormously.

My younger sister, Jocelyn, is 16 and in Year 10. Jocelyn loves school but computer science has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The GCSE exam is in October. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Manila or online, for about ten weeks. Jocelyn is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in computer science, you could change the course of Jocelyn's year. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Keep going, Divina. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I'm in social work myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
