A computer science tutor for Henry, 12, who's falling behind
Henry is working hard on computer science but cannot afford a tutor; 1 hours a week until the school-leaving would help enormously.

My younger brother, Henry, is 12 and in Grade 11. Henry loves school but computer science has been a struggle since the school was closed during the pandemic. The school-leaving exam is in November.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Rochester or online, for about ten weeks.
Henry is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in computer science, you could change the course of Henry's year.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

So sorry you're going through this, Brenda. Your post was clear and honest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
