A community garden for the Sycamore community hall: help our neighbors in Tijuana
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community garden - we need $950 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $950.
It will serve about 434 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $950 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $40
• Permits and inspections: $125
• Materials: $785
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Sending love, Ramón. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Dhaka.
Best of luck, Ramón. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Blessings
More neighborhoods should do this. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Blessings
So sorry you're going through this, Ramón. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
Hope you get there. My neighbor in London donated after I showed her your page
Take care, Ramón. This could happen to any of us. My neighbor in Thane donated after I showed her your page.

Sending strength. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 10 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Saint-Denis!
Take care, Ramón. This could happen to any of us. Love from Liverpool
Sending strength, Ramón. Shared it with a few friends. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings.
