A community garden for the Harmony community hall: help our neighbors in Kyoto
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community garden - we need $1,750 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $1,750.
It will serve about 90 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $190
• Permits and inspections: $190
• Materials: $1,370
