A community garden: a volunteer-led effort in Ribeirão Preto
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community garden - we need $1,000 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Jacaranda bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $1,000.
It will serve about 181 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Materials: $760
• Permits and inspections: $90

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Luís
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. tools hire and delivery is the biggest at $150. Happy to explain more.
