A community fridge for the Liberty health centre yard: help our neighbors in Prayagraj

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $550. It will serve about 173 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $550 goes: • Safety equipment and signage: $30 • Materials: $490 • Permits and inspections: $30 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
