A community fridge for the Freedom community hall: help our neighbors in Machakos
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $450 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 293 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Safety equipment and signage: $25
