A community fridge for Liberty Park: help our neighbors in Cầu Giấy
Volunteers in Cầu Giấy are raising $300 for a community fridge at Liberty Park.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Liberty Park, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 121 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $300 goes:
• Materials: $160
• Permits and inspections: $25
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
• Tools hire and delivery: $90
