A community fridge for Cedar Park: help our neighbors in Mwanza
Volunteers in Mwanza are raising $300 for a community fridge at Cedar Park.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Cedar Park, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 520 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $300 goes:
• Materials: $170
• Permits and inspections: $30
• Safety equipment and signage: $20
• Tools hire and delivery: $80
