I'm Tarun, 16, in Year 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study biomedical science.
I have a 3.9 average, I volunteer at my mosque and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until November. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

- 1 hour a week

you're not alone. Hope this works out for you. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
Take care, Tarun. Study hard! I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Greetings from London.
