I'm Savannah, 19, in Year 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study psychology.
I have a top-of-class average, I volunteer at a food pantry and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until January. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Thank you so much.

so sorry you're going through this, Savannah. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
So sorry you're going through this, Savannah. I hope things turn around soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
Stay strong. Study hard! Love from Lagos
Your post was clear and honest. I hope January is when things finally get easier. All the best
