I'm Rania, 16, in Year 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study architecture.
I have a 3.9 average, I volunteer at the local library and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until October. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
- effort
- 1 hour a week
- format
- Online or by phone
- skills
- university experience, essay feedback

you're not alone, Rania. This could happen to any of us. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of Casablanca.
hope things get better soon. Hope this works out for you. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Rooting for you, Rania. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Sent it to 40 people at work. Take care.
Sending strength. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Bonny
Hope it all works out, Rania. Hope this works out for you. All the best.
