I'm Nadia, 19, in my final year of high school. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study psychology.
I have a 3.9 average, I volunteer at an after-school program and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until December. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Good luck, Nadia. Looking forward to the next update. All the best.
Sending love. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to Addis Ababa so I could bring a meal. All the best.
hope things get better soon. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Please keep us posted. Love from Granada
sending good thoughts. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out
Praying for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I have a 8 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless
So sorry you're going through this, Nadia. This could happen to any of us
hang in there. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. We're a small family in Dublin but we're thinking of you. Take care.
Wishing you the best, Nadia. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Laval.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Zaporizhzhia this morning.
I hope things turn around soon. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care.
