I'm Léo, 19, in Grade 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study computer science.
I have a 3.9 average, I volunteer at a food pantry and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until September. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Hope things get better soon. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to Pune so I could bring a meal.
Wishing you the best, Léo. Shared this with my family. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Patna.
Hang in there. This could happen to any of us. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from Swansea.
Hope it all works out. Hope this works out for you. Greetings from Gulu.
Rooting for you, Léo. This could happen to any of us. Love from San Fernando
So sorry you're going through this. Hope this works out for you. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings.
Stay strong, Léo. I hope things turn around soon. After 15 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Sending good thoughts. Hope this works out for you. After 10 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.
Best of luck. Hope you get there. Greetings from Los Angeles
Wishing you the best. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
Best of luck, Léo. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 14 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
Praying for you, Léo. Hope you get there. Take care.
