A college application mentor for Krishna, first in the family to apply
Looking for a graduate who can spend an hour a week reviewing Krishna's essays until August.

I'm Krishna, 16, in my final year of high school. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study public health.
I have a top-of-class average, I volunteer at my church youth group and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until August. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

good luck, Krishna. Study hard! Blessings
you're not alone, Krishna. Your post was clear and honest. My husband and I read this together
Sending love. I hope things turn around soon. After 12 years in nursing I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Take care!
Hope it all works out, Krishna. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best.
Wishing you the best, Krishna. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Put this on a community board in Bergamo this morning.
Thinking of you and your family, Krishna. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
You're not alone, Krishna. Hope you get there. I hope August is when things finally get easier. Love from Taguig.
