I'm Eiji, 17, in Form 6. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study computer science.
I have a 3.9 average, I volunteer at an after-school program and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until November. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Glad we found this place.

Keep going, Eiji. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to Lagos so I could bring a meal.
education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care.
Good luck. Your post was clear and honest. Don't give up. Greetings from Anaheim
