I'm Dan, 16, in my final year of high school. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study economics.
I have a 3.7 average, I volunteer at my church youth group and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until December. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Sending love. Study hard! My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
Take care. Looking forward to the next update. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money
Praying for you. Shared it with a few friends. I have a 16 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
You're not alone, Dan. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I have a 9 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
take care, Dan. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of Austin.
