I'm Ayelet, 16, in Grade 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study computer science.
I have a top-of-class average, I volunteer at a food pantry and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until September. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Glad we found this place.

Stay strong, Ayelet. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Thinking of you and your family, Ayelet. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I hope September is when things finally get easier. Greetings from Buffalo.
Wishing you peace, Ayelet. Good luck with the exams, you've got this.
Praying for you, Ayelet. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. All the best.
Take care. Hope you get there. Sent it to 9 people at work. Blessings.
