Wanjiru is launching a co-working café and would love advice from someone who has built one.

I'm launching a co-working café in Thika next August. I have saved the start-up funds myself, but I have never run a business before. I've questions about pricing, suppliers, simple bookkeeping, hiring and - frankly - how not to burn out.
I'm looking for a mentor with real small-business experience, ideally in a co-working café, willing to have a monthly call for the first four months. I'll bring a list of questions and my numbers.
If you have a few hours a month, and enjoy helping someone avoid the mistakes you made, I'd really appreciate it.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
- effort
- 1 hour a month
- format
- Online or by phone

Wishing you peace, Wanjiru. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up.
Small businesses are the heart of Thika. Hope you're open again soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Hope things get better soon, Wanjiru. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Take care.
