I coordinate donations at the Union Family Centre in Mumbai. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Mumbai, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Union Family Centre on Sunday between 9am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Union Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  • Hope it all works out, Arun. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Tamale.

        • Hang in there, Arun. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.

          • Keep going, Arun. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Don't give up!
