I coordinate donations at the Liberty Primary School in Paarl. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Paarl, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Liberty Primary School on Saturday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Liberty Primary School clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

good luck, Clinton. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Paarl.
Thanks for sharing this, Clinton. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best
Stay strong. Hope this works out for you. Love from Timișoara
