I coordinate donations at Liberty Women's Shelter in San Jose. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in San Jose, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Liberty Women's Shelter on Monday between 10am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Liberty Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
