I coordinate donations at the Cedar Community Church in San Antonio. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in San Antonio, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Cedar Community Church on Tuesday between 11am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Cedar Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thank you so much.

Sending love, Jordan. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together
You're not alone, Jordan. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Take care.
Wishing you peace, Jordan. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
Rooting for you, Jordan. Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of San Antonio.
It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Mekelle
