Give a few hours to the School Supplies Giveaway - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.

Every year the School Supplies Giveaway brings together 122 neighbors in Cali. I help organize it with 7 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Sending good thoughts, Iván. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best
