I coordinate donations at the Acacia Community Church in Huntsville. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Huntsville, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Acacia Community Church on Saturday between 9am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Acacia Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thank you so much.

Keep going, Beatriz. Shared it with a few friends. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Huntsville
hope this works out for you. Put this on a community board in Liverpool this morning. All the best.
Wishing you the best, Beatriz. I hope things turn around soon. We're a small family in San Diego but we're thinking of you.
This could happen to any of us. Sent it to 32 people at work. God bless
stay strong, Beatriz. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
