30 volunteers for the Community Soup Kitchen Night in Chicago
We're short of hands for the Community Soup Kitchen Night; can you spare a morning?
🇺🇸 Illinois, United States960 views
Every year the Community Soup Kitchen Night brings together 101 neighbors in Chicago. I help organize it with 12 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I hope life is good to you.

wishing you peace, Hao. Hope this works out for you. Thinking of Chicago
this could happen to any of us. We're a small family in Laredo but we're thinking of you. God bless.
Take care, Hao. Great idea, hope you get there. After 28 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
rooting for you, Hao. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Chicago!
Rooting for you, Hao. Great idea, hope you get there
