Every year the School Supplies Giveaway brings together 515 neighbors in Thika. I help organize it with 5 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Sending love, Odhiambo. Shared this with my family. Thinking of Thika.
Hope things get better soon, Odhiambo. Great idea, hope you get there. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care.
