20 volunteers for the Free Community Meal in Nagpur
Give a few hours to the Free Community Meal - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.
🇮🇳 Maharashtra, India1,673 views
Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 286 neighbors in Nagpur. I help organize it with 8 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Thank you so much.

Thinking of you. Great idea, hope you get there. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Take care
Take care, Prakash. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Rooting for you, Prakash. Your post was clear and honest. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care
