18 volunteers for the Community Soup Kitchen Night in Sacramento
We're short of hands for the Community Soup Kitchen Night; can you spare a morning?
🇺🇸 California, United States1,042 views
Every year the Community Soup Kitchen Night brings together 471 neighbors in Sacramento. I help organize it with 8 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Best of luck, Francisco. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Blessings
Sending love, Francisco. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. Sent it to 40 people at work.
Hang in there, Francisco. Shared it with a few friends. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best.
Rooting for you, Francisco. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Tamale.

Hope it all works out. Shared it with a few friends. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of Sacramento!
Shared this with my family. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from Lagos.
Sending strength. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Wishing you the best, Francisco. I hope things turn around soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
Best of luck, Francisco. Hope this works out for you. Greetings from Saint-Denis.
