Every year the Seniors' Tea Afternoon brings together 518 neighbors in Boulogne-Billancourt. I help organize it with 10 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

  • More neighborhoods should do this. Put this on a community board in Marrakesh this morning.

Sending good thoughts. Hope this works out for you. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless.

      • Your post was clear and honest. Put this on a community board in Gothenburg this morning.
