Vrushali's non-Hodgkin lymphoma treatment fund
8 rounds of treatment are planned at the Mumbai Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Vrushali was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in June. The oncology team at the Mumbai Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Vrushali is 43, worked as a farmer until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Mumbai Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $530
• Scans and lab work: $160
• Transport to the Mumbai Oncology Institute: $115
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $145
• Household costs while unable to work: $300
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Take care, Ganesh. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
thinking of you and your family. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. All the best.
