For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Pioneer bus depot, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $750. It will serve about 102 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $750 goes: • Materials: $580 • Permits and inspections: $65 • Safety equipment and signage: $30 • Tools hire and delivery: $75 Every share and every dollar helps. - Ubol

Updates from Ubol

Thank you all. We're at 29% now ($217). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for tools hire and delivery is now scheduled.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($115 in total) I made the first payment toward tools hire and delivery. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
