The old Cedar bus depot needs a skate park - Tanvi's neighborhood project
A community-led a skate park at the old Cedar bus depot that will serve 564 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Cedar bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $750.
It will serve about 564 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Safety equipment and signage: $270
• Permits and inspections: $110
