The Lotus vacant lot needs a skate park - Rajeshwari's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $400 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $400.
It will serve about 310 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $400 goes:
• Materials: $250
• Permits and inspections: $60
• Safety equipment and signage: $50
• Tools hire and delivery: $40
