The Liberty health centre yard needs a community fridge - Riku's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $2,650 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 15 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $2,650.
It will serve about 127 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,650 goes:
• Materials: $2,000
• Permits and inspections: $270
• Safety equipment and signage: $145
• Tools hire and delivery: $235
