Taylor wants to stay at home - help fund eight months of care
Help Taylor stay in her own home with eight months of part-time care.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 92. After worsening Parkinson's disease Taylor can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Taylor desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Taylor worked all of her life as a shopkeeper, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $6,050 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $4,900
• Medication and prescriptions: $530
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $280
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $340

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Taylor
Sure. The biggest one is part-time carer (eight months), $4,900. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. It helps to be asked.
