Talha wants to stay at home - help fund four months of care
Talha, 84, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $350 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 84. After a diagnosis of dementia Talha can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Talha desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Talha worked all of his life as a shopkeeper, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $350 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $200
• Medication and prescriptions: $75
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $45
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $30
