Sadia wants to stay at home - help fund eight months of care
Sadia, 75, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $150 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 75. After worsening Parkinson's disease Sadia can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Sadia desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Sadia worked all of her life as a bus driver, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $150 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $25
• Medication and prescriptions: $90
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $35

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. mobility aids and bathroom adaptations comes first ($25) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Appreciate you taking the time.
