Rita wants to stay at home - help fund four months of care
Help Rita stay in her own home with four months of part-time care.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 74. After worsening Parkinson's disease Rita can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Rita desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Rita worked all of her life as a nurse, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $850 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $600
• Medication and prescriptions: $140
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $55
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $55
Thanks for being kind about this.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Rita.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. part-time carer (four months) is the biggest at $600. Good question.
