Resettlement support for 4 people arriving in Faisalabad
Help a family of 8 start their new life in Faisalabad: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.
🇵🇰 Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan491 views
My family left Somalia 13 months ago after the conflict closed our school and clinic. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Faisalabad. We're a family of seven and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 2 months of rent, and that support ends in February.
I was a pharmacist in Somalia, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $450 goes:
• Rent deposit and first month: $195
• Language classes and bus passes: $65
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $45
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $145
Every share and every dollar helps.
