Raymond wants to stay at home - help fund six months of care
Raymond, 83, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $5,000 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 83. After a stroke last September Raymond can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Raymond desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Raymond worked all of his life as a factory worker, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $5,000 goes:
• Part-time carer (six months): $3,650
• Medication and prescriptions: $690
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $175
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $485
