I'm caring for me, who's 75. After a fall and hip fracture Ramesh can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Ramesh desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Ramesh worked all of his life as a shopkeeper, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.

• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $360
