One semester away: help Alexandra graduate from San Antonio State College
Alexandra has worked and saved for five years to study a nursing degree; a $3,550 gap now stands between her and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a nursing degree at San Antonio State College, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a shop assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $3,550.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.8 average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the San Antonio State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $3,550 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,500
• Final term tuition: $1,650
• Exam and lab fees: $190
• Textbooks and materials: $210
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hang in there. Shared this with my family. Wish I lived closer to Nagoya so I could bring a meal.
Keep going. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I have a 9 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of San Antonio.
Rooting for you. Hope this works out for you. Thinking of San Antonio.
Take care, Alexandra. This could happen to any of us. Don't give up. God bless.
