Nina wants to stay at home - help fund eight months of care
Help Nina stay in her own home with eight months of part-time care.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 90. After a heart attack Nina can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Nina desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Nina worked all of her life as a nurse, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $3,800 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $2,800
• Medication and prescriptions: $570
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $230
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $200
Every share and every dollar helps.

Small update. $120 so far, I made the first payment toward medication and prescriptions. - Horst
Good news. Because of your gifts ($45 in total) we've started the first stage. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely. - Horst

Keep going. Wishing Nina a smooth procedure and a full recovery. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Santarém.
Hope it all works out. Wishing Nina a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Greetings from Sheffield.
Hope the doctors have good news. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of Berlin.
Best of luck, Horst. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest.
Thinking of you, Horst. Get well soon. Love from San Diego
Keep going, Horst. Get well soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
