Nazrul wants to stay at home - help fund eight months of care
Nazrul, 87, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $500 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 87. After the death of his spouse Nazrul can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Nazrul desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Nazrul worked all of his life as a carpenter, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $500 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $280
• Medication and prescriptions: $110
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $35
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $75
