Miguel wants to stay at home - help fund four months of care
Help Miguel stay in his own home with four months of part-time care.

I'm caring for me, who's 74. After a stroke last November Miguel can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Miguel desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Miguel worked all of his life as a schoolteacher, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $710
• Medication and prescriptions: $130
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $80
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $130
Thank you for reading my story.

Thanks for sharing this, Miguel. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care.
This could happen to any of us. We're a small family in Lowell but we're thinking of you. Blessings!
thinking of you, Miguel. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Take care!
