Marina is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a computer science degree at Moscow Polytechnic, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,600.
The registrar has said Marina can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Marina has a 3.8 average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Marina would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Marina isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Moscow Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $40
• Final term tuition: $1,100
• Outstanding tuition balance: $460
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Thinking of you, Olga. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Rooting for you, Olga. Your post was clear and honest.
Praying for you. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Greetings from Venice.
