I'm caring for my father, who's 85. After a stroke last May Mahmoud can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Mahmoud desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Mahmoud worked all of his life as a bus driver, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.

• Part-time carer (four months): $290
• Medication and prescriptions: $110
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $70
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $80
