Luis's stage 3 ovarian cancer treatment fund
10 rounds of treatment are planned at the Palmira Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Luis was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in August. The oncology team at the Palmira Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Luis is 33, worked as a bank teller until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Palmira Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $2,750 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $420
• Scans and lab work: $400
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,850
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $80
